There are five stages in your application: Offer, Referencing, Contracts, Payments and Move in & Live. Please read the information below to find out what each stage involves.
- Offer: Complete your offer. Click on the link in the email invitation you receive to fill in your details. Submit your offer as soon as you can to make sure that you secure the property. Once your offer is accepted, you can start uploading details and documents for referencing.
- Referencing: Upload and submit details and documents for referencing. Click on the link in the email invitation you receive to upload your information. Make sure you go through each section of the application and click on ‘Submit’ at the end. After you’ve submitted, the details will be sent automatically to our trusted, third-party referencing partner, Let Alliance, who verify your information and conduct referencing checks to ensure that you meet affordability requirements. Once referencing is complete and the reports have been approved, your contract will be issued for signature.
- Contracts: Sign the agreement to make it official. Click on the link in the email invitation you receive to review and sign your contract.
- Payments: Make the total upfront payment. You’ll receive an email from your property manager requesting payment. This email will contain a due date and a breakdown of the total upfront rent amount, which typically includes the first month’s rent and a security deposit.
- Move in & Live: Your property manager will take over from here to prepare you for moving in. Once you’ve settled in, you can use the Residently app to make rent payments, report any maintenance issues, view your contract, renew your lease and more.
