In the offer form, the lead resident is asked to choose who will be responsible for uploading details and documents for referencing after the offer has been approved. They can select one of two options, either:
- I'll upload everyone's details and documents - (The lead resident will need to collect, upload, and submit everyone's details and documents for referencing)
- I want each person to provide their own - (Everyone on the application will need to upload their own details and documents for referencing. The lead resident is responsible for submitting the application as a whole)
The lead resident must select an option and click Next to proceed.
The lead resident will then be prompted to review their choice before submitting the offer form. Once the lead resident choses an option and submits the offer form, they will not be able to change the option later.
If you've completed the offer form already and wish to change this option, please contact the property manager via the app. Go to Support > Create new message > Request changes to your tenancy.
Once the offer has been approved, everyone's details and documents can be uploaded to the application for referencing.
If the lead resident uploads paperwork on behalf of all residents and guarantors, each resident and guarantor will receive an email invitation asking them to share their paperwork with the lead resident so that they can upload it to the application. Residents and guarantors will need to accept the invitation before the lead resident can upload their details.
If the individual paperwork option was selected by the lead resident, everyone on the application will receive a unique email invitation with a link to upload their own details and documents for referencing. Everyone's details are kept secure as the information is uploaded straight to the application. While the lead resident is able to monitor paperwork progress in the app to track which sections everyone has completed, they are unable to view or access anyone's personal details and documents.
The lead resident will be asked to specify the share of rent for each resident on the application. Enter the individual amount for each resident, or click Split equally to share the rent equally, then click Save and continue to proceed.
The lead resident is always responsible for submitting the application as a whole. They can only submit the application once everyone has uploaded all their details. The lead resident will see the message "All sections are complete, you can now submit your details" when the application is ready for submission. Once the application has been submitted, it cannot be reopened to amend any details. Click Submit to submit the application.
